Occupational Therapist School Setting - Coffeyville, KS

The specific caseload will be provided shortly.

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Valid Occupational Therapist license in Kansas (or eligibility to obtain)
• Previous experience working in schools, home health, or healthcare environments
• Strong communication and collaboration skills with students, families, and multidisciplinary teams
• Familiarity with IEP processes and individualized interventions for diverse student needs
• Ability to adapt therapy techniques to various school-based settings
• Organizational skills to manage documentation and scheduling effectively

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations to determine students’ functional needs in the educational environment
• Develop and implement individualized occupational therapy plans geared toward promoting student success and independence
• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to develop and support IEP goals
• Maintain detailed progress records and comply with documentation requirements in a timely manner
• Offer consultative support and training to staff regarding best practices for promoting student participation
• Participate in team meetings and contribute to ongoing program development
