School Occupational Therapist | Cohasset, Minnesota

Step into an exciting opportunity as a full-time occupational therapist dedicated to making a difference in the lives of students from Pre-K through 12th grade. This contract position begins as soon as possible and runs through June 1, 2026, offering the chance to impact a dynamic caseload of 60-75 students while collaborating closely with a certified occupational therapy assistant (COTA). Supervision and mentorship will be part of your daily routine, as you support and guide your team in delivering exceptional therapy services within a school environment.

Key qualifications and experience:

• Current licensure to practice as an Occupational Therapist
• Previous experience working in school-based settings, especially with Pre-K through 12th grade students
• Ability to supervise and support a COTA as part of a collaborative service team
• Strong communication, organizational, and documentation skills
• Flexibility adapting to the changing needs of a diverse caseload

Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Providing direct and consultative OT services to students on your caseload
• Developing and implementing individualized treatment plans and interventions
• Collaborating with teachers, support staff, and families to promote student success
• Conducting evaluations, updating IEPs, and tracking student progress toward goals
• Supervising the COTA and ensuring high-quality therapy service delivery
