Preferred Qualifications:

  • Active Occupational Therapy license in the state of Indiana (or eligibility to obtain)
  • Experience providing OT services within a school setting, including assessments, interventions, and progress monitoring
  • Familiarity with IEP development and participation in multidisciplinary team meetings
  • Ability to communicate effectively with students, staff, and families
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
  • Flexibility and adaptability to varying student needs and caseloads

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct evaluations and deliver evidence-based occupational therapy services to students
  • Collaborate with educators, parents, and support staff to ensure impactful interventions
  • Participate actively in IEP meetings, delivering clear documentation and recommendations
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans and instructional strategies
  • Monitor, document, and report on student progress toward developmental and academic goals
  • Adapt therapeutic approaches to meet diverse learning needs and environments
  • Offer expertise and training to school faculty regarding occupational therapy best practices
