Qualifications and Experience:
- Current Occupational Therapist license valid for practice in South Carolina
- Previous experience providing OT services in a school setting, or related pediatric experience
- Proficiency in developing and implementing treatment plans for diverse student populations
- Strong knowledge of IEP processes and documentation requirements
- Excellent collaboration skills to work effectively with teachers, families, and related service providers
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Deliver occupational therapy services directly to students as outlined in their IEPs
- Evaluate and assess students to determine needs and recommend interventions
- Collaborate with educational staff and families to support student achievement and functional independence
- Develop, document, and update student progress towards goals
- Adapt and modify classroom materials to facilitate student participation
- Travel between assigned school sites as needed
