Assignment Details:
- Contract dates: July 27, 2026, through May 26, 2027
- Full-time schedule: 37.5 hours per week
- Competitive hourly rate between $45 and $55
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop individualized therapy plans for students with a diverse range of needs.
- Deliver occupational therapy services in both traditional school settings and, as needed, home or healthcare environments.
- Collaborate closely with teachers, parents, and other related service professionals to align goals and maximize student progress.
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress notes in compliance with regulatory and district standards.
- Consult with staff and families to provide strategies that increase student independence and participation in daily activities.
- Stay current on best practices in school-based occupational therapy.
Desired Qualifications:
- Active Occupational Therapist licensure.
- Experience with school-based OT is highly preferred; background in home health or healthcare occupational therapy also valued.
- Strong communication, organizational, and time-management skills.
