School Occupational Therapist - Concord, California

Desired Qualifications & Experience:

• Valid Occupational Therapy licensure in California
• Successful completion of an accredited OT program
• Prior experience working in a school-based or pediatric setting preferred
• Strong understanding of IEP development and implementation
• Excellent communication, organization, and documentation abilities
• Team-oriented with a collaborative approach
• Ability to adapt therapy plans to meet diverse student needs and learning styles

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess students’ functional abilities and develop individualized therapy goals
• Deliver direct and consultative occupational therapy services as outlined in IEPs
• Collaborate regularly with teachers, administrators, and families to support student progress
• Maintain accurate and timely student records and progress reports
• Adapt interventions to address sensory, fine/gross motor, and self-care skills
• Contribute to IEP meetings and provide expertise on occupational therapy’s role in student success
• Offer training and resources to educational staff as needed
