We're seeking two dedicated Occupational Therapists for a contract position, helping young learners thrive in a school-based setting near Concord, CA. Dates for this assignment run from June 8th to July 2nd, with a consistent 22.5-hour workweek. Your hours will be 8:15 AM to 12:45 PM, Monday through Friday, offering both structure and flexibility to fit your summer plans.

Qualifications/Experience:

  • Valid Occupational Therapist license in California
  • Previous experience providing OT services in a school or pediatric setting
  • Strong understanding of IEPs and educational therapy goals
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills with students, families, and school staff
  • Ability to organize activities that target sensory, motor, and adaptive skills

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct and consultative occupational therapy services to students in accordance with IEPs
  • Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to support student progress
  • Assess student needs and document progress on therapy goals
  • Adapt interventions based on individual student requirements, ensuring a positive and supportive environment
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute to student-centered planning
