Qualifications and Experience Sought:

  • Master's or Doctorate degree in Occupational Therapy (required)
  • Active California OT licensure
  • Recent school-based OT experience highly preferred
  • Proficient in developing and implementing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
  • Strong communication skills for collaborating with teachers, staff, and families
  • Ability to work independently and manage a diverse caseload
  • Dedication to creating an inclusive and positive learning environment

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Conducting assessments and evaluating students’ fine motor, sensory, and adaptive needs
  • Designing and implementing targeted therapy plans
  • Collaborating with multi-disciplinary teams and participating in IEP meetings
  • Providing direct therapy and consultation services within classrooms
  • Documenting progress and maintaining compliance with district and state guidelines
  • Offering training and support for staff and caregivers on OT best practices
