Occupational Therapist School Setting - Concord, CA

Step into an impactful role supporting students as a licensed Occupational Therapist within a dynamic school setting near Concord, CA. This full-time contract opportunity begins as soon as possible and/or for the 2026-2027 school year. Working onsite, you’ll collaborate with educators and families to help students achieve their highest potential by fostering independence and academic success.

What You’ll Bring:

• Valid California Occupational Therapist licensure (OT, OTR/L)
• Previous experience providing OT services in school or pediatric settings preferred
• Strong communication and collaboration skills with students, staff, and families
• Ability to develop, implement, and adjust individualized treatment plans
• Solid organizational skills for managing caseloads and meeting timelines
• Passion for supporting students’ growth and inclusion within the learning environment

Your Main Responsibilities:

• Conduct evaluations and develop individualized education program (IEP) goals
• Deliver direct and consultative OT services to students in-person
• Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and families to incorporate OT strategies into daily routines
• Document progress, maintain records, and prepare necessary reports in compliance with district and state requirements
• Participate in IEP meetings as a critical team member providing insight on students’ needs and progress
• Adapt interventions and materials based on each student’s strengths and challenges
