Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
- Valid Occupational Therapist license for the state of California
- Previous school-based or pediatric OT experience highly preferred
- Strong communication and collaboration skills with students, staff, and families
- Ability to adapt to a variety of needs and work effectively within educational teams
- Dedication to fostering student independence and participation
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and develop individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to student needs
- Deliver direct therapy services to students during the school day
- Collaborate closely with special education and general education staff to implement accommodations and strategies
- Maintain accurate documentation on student progress and therapy sessions
- Consult with teachers and families regarding strategies for classroom and home support
- Participate in IEP meetings, team consultations, and ongoing professional development activities
This role offers competitive hourly compensation ranging from $55 to $70, based on experience and qualifications.
