Desired Experience and Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
  • Current OT license valid in California
  • Prior experience working with K-12 students is strongly preferred
  • Ability to conduct evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans
  • Excellent communication, organization, and collaboration skills
  • Genuine passion for helping students achieve greater independence and participation in the classroom

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct and consultative OT services to K-12 students based on IEP goals
  • Assess student needs, develop intervention strategies, and integrate best practices
  • Maintain accurate session notes and progress documentation
  • Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and families to support student success
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute OT expertise to multidisciplinary teams
  • Adapt strategies and materials to maximize student access and participation
