High School Elementary School Occupational Therapist - Concord, North Carolina

You’ll use your specialized expertise to support elementary, middle, and high school students as they achieve greater independence and success in their day-to-day learning environments.

What we’re looking for:

• Current Occupational Therapy license, along with certification
• Experience working within school settings (elementary, middle, high school preferred)
• Strong communication and collaboration skills for partnering with teachers, staff, and families
• Ability to develop and implement individualized interventions for varied age groups
• Knowledge of legal and ethical guidelines related to school-based OT

In this role, you’ll:

• Complete assessments to determine students’ strengths and areas of need
• Develop and carry out individualized treatment plans to address educational goals
• Collaborate with teachers and other support staff to provide classroom strategies and adaptations
• Maintain thorough documentation and progress reports in compliance with school standards
• Support students as they participate in classroom activities, social engagement, and self-care
• Contribute to IEP meetings and interdisciplinary team discussions to ensure well-rounded support
