Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid Occupational Therapy license for the state of Tennessee (or eligibility to obtain)
- Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
- Previous experience in a school-based or pediatric setting preferred
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to manage caseload, conduct evaluations, and implement individualized intervention plans
Core Responsibilities:
- Assess students’ functional abilities and needs across the school setting
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans and IEP goals
- Deliver direct and consultative therapy services in accordance with best practices
- Maintain accurate documentation of progress, assessments, and interventions
- Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support students’ access to the educational environment
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary team discussions
