Qualifications and Desired Experience:

  • Current licensure as an Occupational Therapist
  • Background in school-based OT services for children or youth
  • Experience with teletherapy, home health, or healthcare OT settings is beneficial
  • Strong organizational skills to manage and prioritize a varied caseload
  • Comfortable adapting therapeutic strategies for both onsite and remote delivery
  • Effective communicator with students, staff, and families
  • Enjoys collaborating with multidisciplinary teams

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct occupational therapy interventions to K-8th grade students based on individualized plans
  • Assess and document students’ needs, progress, and outcomes according to school protocols
  • Collaborate with teachers and staff to promote integration of therapy goals into daily classroom routines
  • Facilitate both direct and consult-based therapy sessions, utilizing teletherapy platforms as needed
  • Develop and adapt individual education plans (IEPs) in partnership with educational teams
  • Attend and participate in school meetings and parent conferences as required
  • Maintain accurate, timely records and adhere to all compliance regulations
