Embark on a rewarding contract opportunity serving students in diverse school settings near Corona, CA. We are seeking two qualified Occupational Therapists for full-time roles: one covering a full school year, and the other for a maternity leave spanning from approximately August through March. Qualifications:
- Current and active California Occupational Therapy license required
- Proven experience in California school settings, with the ability to work independently in the field
- Skilled in administering BOT-3 and Peabody assessments for students ages 3–22 with multiple disabilities
- Strong data analysis skills to address parent concerns and support recommendations for services
- Comfortable managing fluctuating caseloads and flexible in providing both consultation and assessment as needs arise
- Must be capable of creating and managing your own schedule based on district priorities
- High likelihood of itinerant assignments with limited direct support
- Bilingual Spanish proficiency is a plus
- Experience working with mild to severe student caseloads across all grade levels
- Ability to work autonomously—no supervision or OTAs provided for these positions
Responsibilities:
- Provide occupational therapy assessments and direct/consultative services for a varied student population
- Develop individualized treatment plans based on assessment data, aligned with student IEP goals
- Communicate assessment results and service recommendations to parents and school staff in a clear, supportive manner
- Adapt services and schedules in response to shifting student needs and district requirements
- Travel independently between sites as needed
