Embark on a rewarding contract opportunity supporting students’ growth and independence as an Occupational Therapist serving a diverse K-12 population. This full-time maternity leave position spans from September 2026 through December 2026, with a possible extension into April. You’ll have the chance to work onsite across five schools, providing hands-on interventions and collaborating with a talented team—including two days each week with dedicated COTA support. The caseload includes approximately 57 students, ensuring meaningful engagement and the opportunity to make a lasting impact. Compensation for this role ranges between $50-$58 per hour.

Desired Experience & Qualifications:

  • Current and active Occupational Therapy (OT) license in California
  • School-based OT experience preferred
  • Experience in settings such as Home Health, Healthcare, and Teletherapy a plus
  • Strong proficiency in supporting students with fine motor skills and implementing effective therapeutic interventions
  • Familiarity with IEP documentation and compliance
  • Confident communicator who enjoys collaboration with staff, students, and families

Role Responsibilities:

  • Assess students’ functional abilities and develop individualized OT goals within the school setting
  • Deliver direct and consultative OT services in group and one-on-one formats
  • Collaborate with teachers, school staff, and parents to tailor interventions and support educational outcomes
  • Manage a diverse caseload spanning K-12, adjusting techniques and goals for different age groups and needs
  • Provide mentorship to and collaborate closely with your assigned COTA
  • Maintain accurate records and participate actively in IEP meetings
