Fine Motor Skills Occupational Therapist School Setting in Corona, CA

This important position supports three schools—two elementary and one middle school—covering a caseload of approximately 55 students, with valuable assistance from a COTA. Step into this role to cover an unexpected maternity leave, beginning as soon as possible and continuing through the end of the school year.

Hours for this role are 7:30 am to 4:00 pm, following the district’s calendar so you can enjoy predictable, school-based scheduling.

Desired background and skills:

• Valid Occupational Therapy licensure in California
• Experience in school settings highly valued
• Home Health or Healthcare OT background is a plus
• Strong understanding of fine motor skills development and interventions
• Ability to collaborate effectively with a COTA and school teams
• Proven organizational skills to manage a dynamic school-based caseload
• Strong communication abilities to connect with students, families, and staff

What you’ll be responsible for:

• Provide comprehensive occupational therapy services to students across multiple schools
• Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to enhance each child’s access to educational opportunities
• Assess and address fine motor skill needs for students on the caseload
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in line with IEP goals
• Supervise and support COTA to deliver consistent therapy services
• Maintain clear, timely documentation and regular communication
