Key Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Current license to practice as an Occupational Therapist
- Experience supporting children or adolescents in educational environments, ideally within schools
- Familiarity with IEP processes, goal-setting, and therapeutic documentation
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills for effective collaboration with educators, families, and administrators
- Ability to adapt to diverse caseloads and individual student needs
Core Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct occupational therapy services to students in accordance with IEP goals and district policies
- Conduct assessments, design individualized treatment plans, and track progress
- Collaborate regularly with classroom teachers, special education teams, and family members
- Maintain accurate records and contribute to IEP meetings and documentation
- Provide consultation and professional recommendations for classroom adaptations and student-specific interventions
- Support a positive, inclusive school culture through advocacy and guided best practices
