Both full-time (five days a week) and part-time candidates will be considered, with a strong preference for those who can quickly adapt and thrive on-site.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy
- Active California Occupational Therapist license
- Previous school-based occupational therapy experience required
- Comfortable working independently and collaboratively
- Strong communication skills and adaptability
- Ability to manage elementary-aged caseloads
- Willingness to work on-site and respond to shifting school environments
- COTA applicants will not be considered
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct therapy and interventions to elementary students with diverse needs
- Collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to develop student-specific plans
- Conduct assessments, develop IEP goals, and monitor progress
- Maintain accurate documentation and timely reporting
- Support students in achieving greater independence and participation in their educational environment
- Adapt to changing caseloads and board-driven priorities as the district evolves
