Qualifications & Experience:
- Current licensure as an Occupational Therapist or COTA
- Previous experience in a school-based setting preferred
- Strong communication and organization skills
- Dedication to working in-person with students throughout the school year
- Ability to craft individualized plans and collaborate with teachers, families, and other specialists
Your Responsibilities Will Include:
- Assessing students’ functional needs and developing targeted therapy plans
- Delivering evidence-based interventions to support participation in school activities
- Maintaining detailed documentation of student progress and session outcomes
- Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams for IEP planning and implementation
- Educating and providing resources to staff and families to maximize student success
- Encouraging self-advocacy, independence, and functional skills in students
