Qualifications:
- Master’s degree or higher in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
- Valid state license to practice Occupational Therapy
- Prior experience in a school-based or pediatric setting preferred
- Thorough understanding of IEP processes and documentation
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative approach to multidisciplinary teamwork
- Ability to adapt strategies for diverse student populations
Responsibilities:
- Provide assessments, direct therapy, and consultation for PreK-12th grade students according to IEP goals
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans targeted at improving fine motor skills, sensory processing, and functional abilities needed for school participation
- Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to promote optimal student outcomes
- Document services, progress, and assessments accurately in accordance with school district protocols
- Participate in IEP meetings and professional development activities as needed
