As an occupational therapist in this travel assignment, you will work closely with a manageable caseload of 11 children. Six students require 20-minute sessions weekly (totaling about 3 hours), with a total weekly commitment of 5 hours, potentially more as additional evaluations or departmental needs arise. This flexibility provides time to absorb new best practices, build leadership skills, and expand your resume with impactful school-based therapy experience from August 25th, 2026, through June 11th, 2027.
Desired Skills & Experience:
- Valid Occupational Therapy license for Washington (or eligibility)
- Experience in school-based settings preferred
- Strong understanding of pediatric OT practices
- Ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams
- Knowledge of IEP processes and documentation requirements
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver occupational therapy services to a caseload of 11 children
- Conduct weekly direct therapy sessions as outlined in student IEPs
- Perform evaluations & adjust therapy plans as needed
- Communicate progress and collaborate with educators and families
