What you bring:

  • Current OT or COTA licensure in Rhode Island
  • Previous experience in school-based or healthcare OT/COTA roles preferred
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills with students, educators, and families
  • Flexibility and adaptability when addressing evolving student needs
  • Ability to manage a high-needs caseload with empathy and a problem-solving mindset

What you’ll do:

  • Provide occupational therapy services to students as outlined in their IEPs
  • Develop, implement, and monitor therapy strategies to promote student achievement and independence
  • Collaborate with teachers, administration, and multidisciplinary teams to support students’ educational goals
  • Document services, maintain compliance with school and regulatory guidelines
  • Attend meetings, contribute to IEP development and progress reviews
  • Participate in professional development, including on-site safety care training provided for this role
