Qualifications:

• Valid Occupational Therapist license in the state of Rhode Island
• Previous experience in a school, home health, or healthcare environment preferred
• Familiarity with IEP development, documentation, and progress monitoring
• Strong communication and organizational abilities
• Ability to work independently and within a multi-disciplinary team
• Compassionate, patient, and adaptable approach with children and adolescents

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess students’ functional abilities, strengths, and needs
• Develop and implement individualized occupational therapy interventions
• Collaborate with teachers to adapt classroom materials and activities
• Provide direct therapy services and consultative support to students as outlined in their IEPs
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of evaluations, goals, and progress
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute professional input to support student achievement
