In this contract role near Cranston, RI, you’ll have the opportunity to deliver meaningful therapy services and collaborate closely with educators, students, and families.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
  • Active OT license in Rhode Island (or eligibility to obtain)
  • Strong background in school-based occupational therapy preferred
  • Knowledge of IEP development and implementation
  • Ability to effectively manage a caseload and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
  • Excellent communication, documentation, and organizational skills

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct assessments to determine students’ strengths and areas for improvement
  • Develop and carry out individualized OT interventions in alignment with IEP goals
  • Support students in developing fine motor, sensory processing, and daily living skills
  • Consult and collaborate with teachers, staff, and parents to provide holistic care
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of services and student progress
  • Participate in IEP meetings and offer expert input on student plans
  • Foster an inclusive and positive environment that encourages student participation
