Qualifications:
- Master’s or Doctoral degree in Occupational Therapy required
- Active OT license in Florida
- Prior experience in school settings or pediatrics preferred
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
- Ability to build trust and rapport with students, families, and staff
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and evaluations to determine students’ therapy needs
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans and goals
- Collaborate closely with teachers, counselors, and families to support educational access and achievement
- Document all sessions, progress, and communications according to district and federal guidelines
- Participate in IEP meetings and provide recommendations for classroom accommodations
- Deliver direct and consultative occupational therapy services
