Your expertise in school-based occupational therapy will enable you to assess, plan, and implement individualized interventions that foster student independence and participation. Desired Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
- Current, valid Florida OT licensure
- Experience working with pediatric or school-aged populations
- Familiarity with IEP development and documentation
- Skills in adapting therapy approaches for diverse learning needs
- Strong communication and report-writing abilities
- Flexibility and reliability for a short-term, part-time assignment
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments to determine students’ functional and educational needs
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans in alignment with student IEPs
- Track and document student progress, adapting strategies as needed
- Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to optimize support
- Participate in IEP meetings and provide recommendations for student success
- Maintain compliance with all regulations and ethical guidelines
