Step into an exciting opportunity as an Onsite Occupational Therapist supporting students in a school setting. This contract role offers the chance to make a meaningful impact during a maternity leave assignment from October 16, 2026, through December 18, 2026. Work closely with students, educators, and families, offering your expertise for three days per week in a collaborative and dynamic environment.

Ideal candidates will bring a background in a variety of OT settings—school-based, home health, and teletherapy experience all valued. Your knowledge and flexible approach will be instrumental in helping students achieve their goals and reach their full potential.

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

  • Valid and current Occupational Therapist license
  • Previous experience in school-based settings preferred
  • Comfortable providing one-on-one and group therapy sessions
  • Experience with IEP development and participation
  • Competence in documentation and progress reporting
  • Adaptability to diverse learning needs and settings
  • Able to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including educators and families

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver occupational therapy services on-site to students as part of their educational plan
  • Conduct assessments, develop and implement individualized therapy programs
  • Collaborate with teachers and staff to integrate therapy into classroom activities
  • Maintain accurate records of student progress and document therapy sessions
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute to IEPs
  • Engage families and caregivers in supporting student growth
  • Communicate effectively with all members of the school community
