Occupational Therapist School Setting - Cross City, FL

Your expertise in school-based occupational therapy will enable you to assess, plan, and implement individualized interventions that foster student independence and participation. Desired Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
• Current, valid Florida OT licensure
• Experience working with pediatric or school-aged populations
• Familiarity with IEP development and documentation
• Skills in adapting therapy approaches for diverse learning needs
• Strong communication and report-writing abilities
• Flexibility and reliability for a short-term, part-time assignment

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct assessments to determine students’ functional and educational needs
• Develop and implement individualized therapy plans in alignment with student IEPs
• Track and document student progress, adapting strategies as needed
• Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to optimize support
• Participate in IEP meetings and provide recommendations for student success
