This full-time, onsite contract position offers the unique opportunity to work with a diverse caseload, impacting students’ functional, academic, and social growth in an engaging educational environment.

Key Qualifications:

  • Current licensure as an Occupational Therapist (OTR) through the Texas Executive Council of Physical Therapy and Occupational Therapy Examiners (ECPTOTE)
  • Experience in school-based occupational therapy preferred
  • Strong assessment, documentation, and communication skills
  • Comfortable working with students across a range of grade levels (K-12)
  • Dedication to fostering student independence and participation in the classroom

Role Responsibilities:

  • Deliver occupational therapy services to a caseload of 45–60 students, tailoring interventions based on individual plans and service minutes
  • Conduct assessments and develop treatment goals for students with diverse needs
  • Collaborate with teachers, special educators, and families to implement effective strategies in the classroom and beyond
  • Participate in IEP meetings, contribute to progress reports, and maintain accurate, timely documentation
  • Support the educational team in developing accessible, inclusive learning environments
  • Deliver all services onsite within regular school hours (8:00–4:00), following the academic calendar
