Occupational Therapist School Setting in Crowley, TX

This contract position places you in a dynamic onsite role, working with a diverse K-12 caseload. Your expertise as a Licensed Occupational Therapist will be instrumental in helping children reach their fullest potential, offering vital services within the school environment.

Key Qualifications:

• Valid Occupational Therapist (OTR) license issued by the Texas Executive Council of Physical Therapy and Occupational Therapy Examiners (ECPTOTE)
• Experience or strong interest in school-based occupational therapy practice
• Confidence in planning, implementing, and documenting individualized therapy interventions
• Excellent collaboration and communication skills, working effectively with teachers, families, and staff
• Strong organizational skills for managing a caseload of 45–60 students with varying service schedules
• Flexibility and adaptability in meeting a range of student needs across grade levels

Primary Responsibilities:

• Provide direct occupational therapy services to students identified on your caseload, K-12
• Conduct assessments and develop IEP (Individualized Education Program) goals tailored to each child’s needs
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary educational teams regarding students’ accommodations and modifications
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation and service logs, ensuring compliance with state and district protocols
• Support inclusive learning experiences and adaptive strategies in classroom settings
• Communicate progress regularly to parents, school teams, and stakeholders
