School Occupational Therapist - Crowley, Texas

Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting K-12 students in a dynamic school environment. This full-time position runs from August 3, 2026 through June 4, 2027, working on-site Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM. The assigned caseload will range from 45 to 60 students, adjusted according to service minutes and support needs. You'll play a pivotal role in empowering learners across various grade levels.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Valid Occupational Therapist (OTR) license through the Texas Executive Council of Physical Therapy and Occupational Therapy Examiners (ECPTOTE)
• Proven experience providing school-based OT services
• Skilled in supporting students with diverse learning and developmental needs
• Strong communication and organizational abilities
• Ability to collaborate effectively with educators, families, and support staff

Key Responsibilities:

• Evaluate and assess students’ functional and academic needs in the K-12 setting
• Develop, implement, and monitor individualized intervention plans
• Deliver direct and consultative OT services as outlined in students’ IEPs
• Document progress and maintain accurate records in compliance with district and regulatory standards
• Collaborate with educational teams to support students’ functional performance in the classroom
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute professional insights and recommendations
