A full-time contract opportunity is available for a skilled Occupational Therapist (OT), with consideration for Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants (COTA), to support K-12 students in an elementary school setting in Crystal Lake, IL. This role requires 37.5 hours per week from August 10, 2026, through May 25, 2027, following a paid orientation from August 4-5.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Facilitate student participation in classroom activities alongside peers by addressing fine motor skills, visual-motor integration, sensory processing, and self-care abilities.
  • Modify tasks or environments to accommodate individual student needs.
  • Perform diagnostic and evaluation testing as appropriate.
  • Prepare clear, comprehensive reports based on assessments and observations.
  • Develop and maintain Individualized Education Program (IEP) objectives and accommodations.
  • Collaborate and communicate effectively with parents and colleagues regarding student progress and support needs.

Qualifications:

  • Valid Illinois state license or eligibility to obtain licensure.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within a team.
  • Flexibility and problem-solving aptitude.
