Occupational Therapist School Setting in Cupertino, CA

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Current license to practice Occupational Therapy in California
• Previous experience in a school environment preferred
• Strong communication skills to collaborate with teachers, staff, and families
• Ability to assess student needs and implement effective therapy plans
• Familiarity with IEP processes and documentation requirements
• Positive attitude with a passion for student support and advocacy

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough assessments and develop individualized interventions for students
• Provide direct therapy services to students as outlined in their IEPs
• Assist teachers with strategies and modifications for classroom participation
• Document progress, maintain accurate records, and participate in IEP meetings
• Educate school staff and families about occupational therapy supports
• Foster a safe, supportive, and engaging learning environment
