Bring your expertise in school-based occupational therapy to a rewarding, full-time contract opportunity in the Cupertino, CA area. This role spans three school sites, supporting students through both direct services and consultative approaches. You'll manage a diverse caseload, currently comprising 22 students receiving direct OT services and 13 through consultation, helping each student achieve their educational and developmental goals.

Desired Experience and Qualifications:

  • Valid California OT license and NBCOT certification required
  • Prior experience in a school-based or pediatric setting is strongly preferred
  • Ability to provide individualized direct intervention and collaborate in consultative models
  • Excellent communication for effective collaboration with teachers, staff, and families
  • Strong documentation skills and the ability to manage a busy schedule across multiple sites
  • Comfortable adapting to varying caseloads, school environments, and student needs

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct and consultative occupational therapy services to students across three schools
  • Develop, implement, and track progress on individualized treatment plans and IEP goals
  • Work closely with multidisciplinary teams, contributing OT perspective to support student success
  • Conduct student assessments, write reports, and maintain all required documentation
  • Offer recommendations and training to staff and families on strategies to enhance students’ participation in school activities
  • Travel between assigned campus locations as needed within the school day
