Occupational Therapist School Setting in Cupertino, CA

Make an impact supporting students in the school setting as an Occupational Therapist in a full-time, contract role near Cupertino, CA. You'll provide a combination of direct therapy and consultative services, currently serving approximately 22 students directly and offering consultation for 13 others.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Active Occupational Therapist license (valid in California)
• Experience in pediatric or school-based settings preferred
• Understanding of IEP processes, documentation, and goal writing
• Strong communication and collaboration skills with both staff and families
• Ability to manage a caseload across multiple school sites
• Flexibility and excellent organizational abilities

Primary Responsibilities:

• Deliver occupational therapy services to students according to IEP requirements
• Conduct assessments and develop individualized intervention plans
• Maintain thorough documentation for direct services, evaluations, and consultations
• Collaborate with educators, counselors, and parents to support student needs
• Participate in IEP meetings and provide recommendations as a valued team member
• Consult regularly with school staff to foster inclusive educational environments
• Travel between three schools as part of your weekly schedule
