Occupational Therapist School Setting in Cypress, TX

Preferred Qualifications:

• Valid Occupational Therapist licensure in the state
• Previous experience in schools or pediatric settings highly valued
• Strong communication and collaboration skills to partner with teachers, support staff, and families
• Ability to adapt services for diverse student needs and learning environments
• Familiarity with IEP processes and documentation requirements

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver Occupational Therapy evaluations and individualized interventions for students with varying needs
• Develop and implement therapeutic strategies to help students achieve academic and functional goals
• Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to create and update student IEPs
• Maintain detailed records of student progress and relevant clinical documentation as required
• Serve multiple school sites, providing direct and consultative OT support as needed
• Educate staff and families on best practices to facilitate students’ participation and success
