Desired Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
  • Valid licensure as an Occupational Therapist (OT) in Georgia, or eligible for licensure
  • Previous experience in a school setting preferred, though strong candidates from clinical backgrounds are encouraged to apply
  • Knowledge of IEP processes and comfort collaborating with multidisciplinary teams
  • Excellent communication, documentation, and organizational skills
  • Commitment to fostering inclusive, supportive learning environments

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess and provide direct occupational therapy services to students, supporting a variety of needs and abilities
  • Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans and goals
  • Participate in IEP meetings, offering expertise and recommendations to ensure student success
  • Maintain comprehensive and timely records of interventions, progress, and outcomes
  • Educate school staff and families on strategies to reinforce progress and promote independence
  • Collaborate with teachers, counselors, and other specialists to integrate therapy into school routines
