Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting students from Pre-K through 8th grade! Work with a diverse caseload of approximately 19 students and make a lasting difference in their educational and developmental journeys. This position begins the week of August 17, 2026, and continues through the end of May 2027, offering a predictable schedule of three days per week (about 19.5 hours weekly).

Leverage your school-based occupational therapy skills in a dynamic educational environment where your expertise will empower children to develop their potential. You’ll collaborate closely with educators, families, and support staff to craft creative solutions and deliver high-quality OT services.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

  • Active Occupational Therapist license in the state of California
  • Previous experience with pediatric or school-based occupational therapy
  • Knowledge of IEP process and documentation
  • Strong communication and collaboration abilities
  • Comfort working with students of varying abilities, PreK through middle school
  • Organizational skills to manage caseload and maintain timely records

Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct therapy sessions to students based on IEP goals
  • Complete evaluations and write comprehensive reports as needed
  • Collaborate with teachers, other school professionals, and families for individualized care plans
  • Participate in IEP meetings, sharing insights and progress updates
  • Maintain all necessary documentation quickly and accurately
  • Offer strategies and resources for classroom and home settings
