Qualifications and Experience:

• Valid Occupational Therapist license for the state
• Experience providing services across multiple age groups (elementary, middle, and high school)
• Certification as an Occupational Therapist
• Strong understanding of IEP processes and Medicaid service documentation
• Ability to collaborate effectively with educators, families, and support staff

Responsibilities:

• Deliver occupational therapy services in alignment with students’ IEPs, ensuring targeted support for their unique needs
• Complete necessary Medicaid billing paperwork accurately and in a timely manner
• Take charge of the OT’s segment of IEP paperwork, including documenting present levels, progress reports on OT goals, and developing/setting OT goals for each student
• Work in partnership with school staff and administration to encourage a supportive, inclusive educational environment
• Monitor and reassess student progress, modifying interventions as needed
