Occupational Therapist School Setting in Davis, CA

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Valid Occupational Therapy (OT) licensure in California required
• Previous school-based OT experience or strong interest in pediatrics preferred
• Solid understanding of IEP processes and documentation
• Effective communication and collaboration skills with students, staff, and families
• Ability to adapt interventions to diverse student needs in a school environment

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct screenings, evaluations, and assessments for students in accordance with school policies
• Develop and implement individualized therapy plans to help students achieve educational goals
• Collaborate with educators, support staff, and families to integrate therapy strategies in classroom routines
• Maintain accurate student records and contribute knowledgeably to IEP meetings
• Provide ongoing support and training to school teams regarding OT best practices
