Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Valid Occupational Therapy (OT) licensure in California required
- Previous school-based OT experience or strong interest in pediatrics preferred
- Solid understanding of IEP processes and documentation
- Effective communication and collaboration skills with students, staff, and families
- Ability to adapt interventions to diverse student needs in a school environment
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct screenings, evaluations, and assessments for students in accordance with school policies
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans to help students achieve educational goals
- Collaborate with educators, support staff, and families to integrate therapy strategies in classroom routines
- Maintain accurate student records and contribute knowledgeably to IEP meetings
- Provide ongoing support and training to school teams regarding OT best practices
