This part-time position is structured around 2.5 days each week, totaling approximately 16.5 hours. You’ll collaborate with an engaged team on an elementary campus, supporting a caseload of 25 students. Your clinical insight will be pivotal in helping children build essential life and learning skills.

Qualifications and Experience Sought:

  • Hold an active Occupational Therapist license issued by the state of Michigan
  • Achieved a passing score on the NBCOT OTR exam
  • Prior experience in a school setting is welcomed, but new graduates eager to enhance their pediatric skills are also encouraged to apply

Role Responsibilities:

  • Provide evidence-based direct and indirect occupational therapy services to elementary students
  • Develop and implement individualized intervention plans in collaboration with educators and families
  • Document student progress, participate in IEP meetings, and maintain communication with parents and staff
  • Educate teachers and staff on strategies that support student goals within the classroom environment
