This full-time opportunity begins in January and spans 6-8 weeks, serving one K-12 school with a caseload of approximately 50 students. Qualifications:
- Credentialed Occupational Therapist (OT) or Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA)
- Experience supporting K-12 students, ideally within a school setting
- Knowledge of school-based therapy techniques and IEP processes
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to organize and prioritize a diverse caseload
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and develop customized intervention plans for students’ occupational therapy needs
- Deliver direct therapy services to address fine motor skills, sensory processing, self-care, and adaptive behavior
- Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to maximize student success in the educational environment
- Maintain clear documentation and reports in accordance with school and state guidelines
- Participate in IEP meetings, sharing insights and progress updates with multidisciplinary teams
