Primarily based at Cesar Chavez locations, you may also have the chance to collaborate with other engaging educational environments throughout the academic year.

You’ll work alongside a driven special education team dedicated to fostering a nurturing, inclusive atmosphere. Flexibility is key, and you’ll have the opportunity to create meaningful interventions tailored to a vibrant variety of student needs.

Your qualifications and experience should include:

  • Current licensure and certification as an Occupational Therapist
  • Previous experience in school-based OT settings preferred
  • Familiarity with IEP documentation and goal tracking
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills with students, staff, and families
  • Ability to adapt practices for both individual and group therapy sessions
  • A commitment to supporting students’ functional and academic success

Responsibilities in this role include:

  • Conducting evaluations and assessments to identify students’ needs
  • Developing and implementing customized therapy plans
  • Collaborating closely with teachers, aides, and families
  • Supporting IEP development and attending meetings as part of the student support team
  • Monitoring progress and documenting treatment outcomes
  • Rotating between locations as needed to meet student needs
