Desired Qualifications:
- Valid Occupational Therapist license in Michigan
- Previous experience providing OT services in K-12 schools
- Deep understanding of IEPs and documentation procedures
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively with students, teachers, and families
- Adaptability and a proactive, student-centered approach
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate students to assess fine motor skills, sensory needs, and activities of daily living
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans according to IEP goals
- Provide direct OT services and work in both individual and group settings
- Maintain detailed and timely documentation of progress and services provided
- Consult and collaborate with teachers, administrators, and parents to promote student success
- Contribute to IEP meetings and support student transitions as needed
