What You’ll Bring:
- Active or eligible Occupational Therapist license in Michigan
- Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution
- Previous experience in schools or pediatric settings is valued
- Strong interpersonal skills to work effectively with students, families, and multidisciplinary teams
- Organizational abilities to manage caseloads and maintain detailed documentation
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct therapy services to students to support their participation in educational activities
- Assess students’ needs and develop individualized treatment plans to enhance academic and life skills
- Consult with teachers, staff, and families to implement interventions that promote student success
- Document progress, evaluate outcomes, and participate in IEP meetings as required
- Collaborate with school personnel and other therapists to ensure a cohesive approach to student care
