Key Qualifications:
- Current Michigan Occupational Therapist license
- Master’s degree or higher in Occupational Therapy
- School-based experience is a plus, but not required—motivated new graduates are encouraged to apply
Role Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct and consultative occupational therapy services to a caseload of approximately 25 students
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and support staff to assess student needs and design individualized treatment plans
- Support functional development and participation in school routines and classroom activities
- Utilize evidence-based interventions to enhance fine and gross motor skills, sensory processing, and self-regulation
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with district and legal standards
- Contribute to IEP meetings and participate in multidisciplinary team efforts as needed
Position Features:
- Part-time schedule: 2½ days per week within standard school hours (8:35am–3:38pm)
