Qualifications & Experience:

• Active state licensure in Occupational Therapy
• Prior experience working as a school-based OT or in pediatric settings
• Familiarity with IEP processes and developing targeted therapy plans
• Strong communication and collaboration abilities with staff, students, and families
• Ability to adapt therapies for a diverse student population

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess and evaluate students’ motor skills and functional abilities within the classroom environment
• Collaborate with educators and multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized IEP goals
• Provide direct therapy sessions to students, adjusting approaches for optimal student engagement and progress
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation on evaluations, progress notes, and reports
• Communicate regularly with teachers and parents regarding student outcomes and therapy recommendations
• Participate in staff meetings, IEP team meetings, and professional development as required
