Key Qualifications:

  • Valid Occupational Therapy license in the state of Michigan
  • Experience working within K-12 educational settings strongly preferred

  • Ability to assess and implement customized interventions to support students' educational goals
  • Understanding of IEP development, documentation, and compliance standards
  • Compassion and adaptability to meet diverse student needs

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive OT assessments in alignment with students’ educational plans
  • Develop and deliver targeted therapy sessions to help students achieve academic and functional objectives
  • Collaborate with special education teams, teachers, and families to support holistic student development
  • Maintain accurate documentation and contribute to IEP meetings as needed
  • Provide consultative services and recommendations for classroom modifications and strategies
  • Track student progress and adjust interventions as necessary
