Step into a dynamic role supporting high school students as an Occupational Therapist for the upcoming fall semester! This full-time contract position offers a rewarding opportunity to collaborate directly with educators and students, helping learners succeed both in and out of the classroom. You’ll be central to shaping a supportive educational environment by providing expert OT services on-site.

Key Qualifications and Experience:

  • Current, active Occupational Therapist (OT) license in Illinois
  • Prior experience in a school-based OT setting required
  • Comfortable working exclusively on-site with teenage students
  • Capable of managing a high school caseload independently
  • COTAs will not be considered for this position

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver individualized and group OT interventions tailored for high school students
  • Collaborate with educators, families, and other professionals to support each student’s learning and functional goals
  • Conduct assessments, develop and implement IEP goals, and provide thorough documentation
  • Offer meaningful input for classroom modifications and adaptive strategies
  • Monitor student progress and adjust interventions as necessary
  • Participate in IEP meetings, contributing OT expertise to multidisciplinary teams
