Qualifications:

• Current state licensure as an Occupational Therapist
• Previous experience in a school setting or strong pediatric background
• Strong knowledge of IEPs and experience contributing to the IEP process
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills with students, staff, and families
• Ability to assess and adapt activities to meet students’ diverse needs
• Flexibility, resourcefulness, and a problem-solving mindset

Responsibilities:

• Conduct screenings, assessments, and evaluations for students requiring occupational therapy
• Develop individualized therapy plans aligned with students’ academic and functional needs
• Implement both direct and consultative services for a diverse caseload
• Collaborate with teachers and support staff to embed strategies within the classroom
• Document progress and contribute to IEP meetings
• Foster a supportive and inclusive environment for all learners
