Qualifications:
- Current state licensure as an Occupational Therapist
- Previous experience in a school setting or strong pediatric background
- Strong knowledge of IEPs and experience contributing to the IEP process
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills with students, staff, and families
- Ability to assess and adapt activities to meet students’ diverse needs
- Flexibility, resourcefulness, and a problem-solving mindset
Responsibilities:
- Conduct screenings, assessments, and evaluations for students requiring occupational therapy
- Develop individualized therapy plans aligned with students’ academic and functional needs
- Implement both direct and consultative services for a diverse caseload
- Collaborate with teachers and support staff to embed strategies within the classroom
- Document progress and contribute to IEP meetings
- Foster a supportive and inclusive environment for all learners
