Preferred Qualifications:

  • Active and current Occupational Therapist license
  • Experience working with students in a school-based environment
  • Familiarity with IEPs, multidisciplinary collaboration, and documentation requirements
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to adapt interventions to suit a wide range of student needs
  • Aptitude for building rapport with students, staff, and families

Core Responsibilities:

  • Assess students’ functional abilities and develop individualized goals and intervention plans
  • Implement evidence-based occupational therapy interventions in classroom and small group settings
  • Maintain accurate records, progress notes, and documentation in compliance with school and state requirements
  • Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with other professionals to ensure a holistic approach to student care
  • Educate staff and families about strategies and accommodations to support student success
  • Monitor progress and adjust therapy plans as needed to foster continual growth
