Occupational Therapist School Setting in Denver, CO

A Contract-to-Hire opportunity is available for an Occupational Therapist to support students in educational settings located in the Denver, CO area. This position offers the flexibility of part-time hours with a schedule tailored to meet the needs of both the therapist and the schools involved.

This role involves providing occupational therapy services across two locations, supporting students at Sky Ranch Academy and Capstone Academy. The position is structured for 28 hours per week or 14 hours per week, with a typical setup of three days weekly at Sky Ranch Academy and one day at Capstone Academy. The director is open to flexible scheduling arrangements to accommodate work-life balance.

Key Qualifications:

• Active Special Service Provider (SSP) license issued by the Colorado Department of Education (CDE) is required.
• Experience providing occupational therapy services in school settings.
• Ability to design and implement individualized therapy plans to enhance student participation and educational success.
• Collaboration skills to work effectively with educators, families, and other service providers.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Deliver occupational therapy assessments and interventions to students with diverse needs.
• Document progress and maintain compliance with state and federal education regulations.
• Participate in team meetings and contribute to Individualized Education Program (IEP) development.
• Create a supportive and engaging learning environment for students.
