Providing occupational therapy services within a dynamic K-12 school setting offers an opportunity to impact student success and development directly. This role involves delivering specialized OT support across two schools, catering to diverse student needs in an engaging educational environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver occupational therapy interventions tailored to school-aged children across K-12.
  • Collaborate with educators, administrators, and families to implement individualized support plans.
  • Conduct assessments and document student progress in compliance with educational and therapeutic standards.
  • Provide services primarily at Sky Ranch Academy three days a week and at Capstone Academy one day a week.
  • Maintain compliance with state and local regulations regarding service provision.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Possession of an active Special Service Provider (SSP) license issued by the Colorado Department of Education (CDE).
  • Experience in school-based occupational therapy preferred.
  • Ability to work flexibly within part-time schedules (either 14 hours or 28 hours per week).
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills to engage effectively with students, school staff, and families.
  • Commitment to fostering student growth within a supportive learning environment.

Location:

  • Services are delivered at Sky Ranch Academy in Watkins, CO, and Capstone Academy in Commerce City, CO.

Work Schedule:

  • Flexible scheduling options with 3 days at Sky Ranch Academy and 1 day at Capstone Academy.
  • Director supports part-time hours and adaptable scheduling.

Contract Details:

  • Full semester assignment with potential to convert to permanent employment.
