Qualifications & Skills:
- Active Special Service Provider (SSP) license from the Colorado Department of Education (CDE) required
- Experience as an Occupational Therapist in a school-based setting strongly preferred
- Strong knowledge of individualized education plans (IEPs) and OT best practices in educational environments
- Excellent communication and collaborative skills to work effectively with students, families, teachers, and support staff
- Adaptability and enthusiasm for working with diverse student populations across multiple sites
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide school-based OT services to students at Sky Ranch Academy (three days) and Capstone Academy (one day)
- Conduct assessments and develop individualized treatment plans in alignment with students’ educational goals
- Collaborate with school staff, counselors, and families to deliver comprehensive support
- Maintain clear documentation and compliance with all relevant regulations and educational standards
- Participate in IEP meetings, student support teams, and professional development as needed
