You'll support a diverse caseload across two elementary schools, one middle school, and provide services for homebound students—making a meaningful impact throughout an innovative district.
Key Qualifications:
- Active Colorado Occupational Therapist license required
- DORA certification
- Colorado Department of Education (DOE) license
- School-based OT experience preferred
- Comfortable traveling between school sites in an itinerant capacity
- Strong ability to balance direct and indirect service delivery
- Commitment to equitable workload distribution, especially for pre-K and specialized program students
What You'll Do:
- Deliver occupational therapy services to approximately 40-60 students, with caseloads adjusted for varying site demands
- Serve students ranging from pre-K to middle school, including those in specialized and homebound programs
- Schedule 32 hours per week, flexible across four or five workdays based on service needs and meeting attendance
- Participate in the required Summer Symposium New Hire Orientation from July 27-31, 2026
- Report onsite from August 3, 2026, with the contract spanning the academic year through May 21, 2027
- Collaborate with school staff and families to support student IEP goals and developmental milestones
- Maintain accurate documentation and compliance with educational and licensing standards
