Qualifications & Experience:

• Hold current Occupational Therapist (OT) certification
• Possess an active Colorado Department of Education certificate
• Maintain a valid Colorado OT license
• Prior experience working with students at the elementary, middle, or high school level preferred
• Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with teachers, families, and support staff
• Ability to adapt interventions to align with individualized education plans (IEPs)

Core Responsibilities:

• Assess students’ functional abilities and needs relating to educational performance
• Develop and implement customized OT interventions focusing on fine motor skills, sensory processing, self-regulation, and daily living skills
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support student success and participate in IEP meetings
• Document progress and maintain timely, accurate records
• Communicate regularly with staff and families, providing guidance and support
• Proactively adapt therapeutic approaches to best meet diverse student needs
