What you’ll bring:
- Active Occupational Therapy license and relevant certification
- Experience providing OT services in a school or pediatric setting preferred
- Comfortable working 1:1 with students, adapting interventions to meet individual needs
- Strong communication skills for collaborating with educators, parents, and other support staff
- Ability to create a supportive, positive environment tailored to diverse student abilities
What you’ll do:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments to determine students’ OT needs
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans focused on improving functional abilities and academic participation
- Deliver targeted, evidence-based OT services directly to students in a 1:1 setting
- Maintain accurate records and participate in progress monitoring and IEP meetings as required
- Advise and consult with teachers and caregivers to help integrate therapeutic strategies within the classroom and at home
